Velma Marie Canada, 65, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away April 23, 2020 in Springdale. She was born February 04, 1955 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, the daughter of the late Claud and Bonnie Alford Canada. She was a retired Secretary and she enjoyed reading, playing video games and most of all, spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her son, G.W. Pennington II and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Xanthea Beavers of Springdale, Arkansas, Tonya Bingaman of Elkins, Arkansas, Emily Pennington of Springdale, Arkansas; brothers, Howard Canada and wife Helen of Gurdon, Arkansas, Joe Canada and wife Karin of Greenwood, Arkansas, Laurrell Canada and wife Karen of Camden, Arkansas; sisters, Doris Jack of Colorado, Elizabeth Ralston and husband John of Sugar Grove, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
