Thelma Jean Davis, age 74, of Springdale, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2016. She was born July 05, 1941 in Oark, Arkansas, to the late James Francis and Hazel Lorene Hill Melson.  She was a long time member of the community and had retired from Wal-Mart after many years of service. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Davis, who passed on October 29, 2001.

She is survived by one sister, Frances Bookout, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
