Stephen Paul Showalter,76, of Gentry, Arkansas, a passionate and dedicated traveler, departed on his last and longest trip to an undiscovered land on May 13, 2020. He was born August 7, 1943 in Dodge City, Kansas to Lester and Helen Showalter. He is survived by wife, Karen, two sons, Aaron Showalter and Matthew and wife Blair; one daughter, Kristin Jones and 9 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced when it is safe to gather. The family requests instead of gifts, please cook dinner prepared with love with your family and enjoy it together in his honor.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
