Stephen "Steve" Ellis McClelland, 64, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away on January 25, 2024 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on October 8, 1959 in Prairie Grove to Ellis and Audrey Maxine Sharp McClelland. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lori Wilhite, grandson Ty Wilhite, sister Sherry Bell, and niece Kimberly Bell. Steve was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish, hunt and trap. He loved to teach others about his hobbies and annually held a trapping seminar at his home. He enjoyed woodworking and had a construction business for most of his life. He loved being with his family and was a great "Poppy" to his grandkids. He will be missed greatly by all his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Dyanna of the home; Daughter, Erin Odom and husband Jon of Lincoln; Son, Christopher Frost of Prairie Grove; Bonus daughters; Kassie Davis, Jeanie Francis, Kailyn Davis, Taylor Napier and husband, Bobby; Grandchildren, Tucker, Hollis, Sutton, Blaine, Levi, Chandler, Piper, Jonah, Troy and Noa. He also leaves behind many cousins, close friends and his dog, Herb.

The family asks that friends wanting to pay respects can make a donation to Arkansas Trappers Association or The Prairie Grove Library. A memorial service will be 2PM, Friday, February 2, 2024 at Prairie Grove Methodist Church. Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale handled the cremation arrangements.
