Shirley Marie Millsap Buckman entered this world on February 8, 1937 in Lost Corner, Arkansas. She was the firstborn child of Cecil and Floy Bridges Millsap. She died December 1, 2019. Shirley was an avid reader and spent school summers checking out books from the Yell County Library. She explored every comer of the Globe through the printed word. She was a yearly volunteer collecting funds for the cancer research. She was an active member of her Fayetteville community and delivered meals to residents for many years.

She is survived by 3 children: Larry Buckman of Mt. Ida, Ark., Davy and Michele Buckman of Olive Branch, Ms., Sherri Buckman of West Fork, Ark., 3 grandchildren, Kevin and Keith Buckman, and Tonya Cline. One sister, Emilee Kindel, niece and nephew, Tina and Marc Daily, 1 Aunt, Vivian Klimack of San Diego, Calif, and one uncle, Tom Bridges of Morrilton, Ark and numerous cousins.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Services will be held privately at a later date.
