Sherlean Elizabeth Nelson, 78, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord May 16, 2022.  She was born June 7, 1943, in Springdale, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Sterling and Margie Parker Bookout.  She retired from Washington Regional Medical Center where she was an administrative assistant.  She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading, watching the Golden Girls, camping, road trips with her family and dancing.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Jimmy Dean Nelson.

Sherlean is survived by one daughter, Lavette Nelson, of Springdale, Arkansas; one son, Jeff Nelson, of Springdale, Arkansas; one sister, Marie Reed Berrie, of Springdale, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Tim Marshall, Lindsey Nelson and Alex Nelson; and one great grandchild, Caden Green.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home.
