Shelley Ramsey, 83 of Lowell, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday July 9th, 2022.

Shelley graduated from Jasper High School and went on to serve in the US Army.  Following an honorable discharge from service to our Country in 1968, Shelley began a successful career at Emerson Electric for 28 years with extensive farming in his spare time.  He married his wife Bonnie in 1966 and they settled in the small town of Lowell, Arkansas, recently celebrating 56 years of marriage.

Shelley would spend hours on his four-wheeler checking on his land and loved being outdoors with his goats, chickens, horses, and cattle.  He was willing to share his farming expertise with anyone who sat to chat with him. He was known to his family and friends as the "Master of the House" when it came to playing Dominos.   Shelley could count dominos faster than anyone in the room.  You definitely wanted to be on HIS team. His family was his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Nancy Ramsey, his siblings Ercie Ramsey, Essie Daniels, Cecil Ramsey, Silvia Ramsey, Beatrice Carter, Duel Ramsey, Buna Brasel, J.W. Ramsey, Shirley Ramsey (his twin) and Adella Willis.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Ramsey of Lowell, Arkansas, daughter Shalena McWilliams (Scott) and grandchildren Ramsey, Reece, and Ryann of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Thursday, July 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale Family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a small graveside service at Snow Cemetery at 3pm following the service in Wayton, AR (County Road 96 Deer, AR 72628).
