Shawn Eric McGlocklin, 53 of Springdale died Monday July 25, 2022 in Springdale. He was born June 10, 1969 in Springdale, Arkansas the son of Larry McGlocklin and Sandra White. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved coon hunting, for which he was crowned Grand Night Champion Coon Hunter. He was He was someone who loved the outdoors. Also, he loved spending time with family, grandkids and was very active in church, where he taught lessons in children's church. He was preceded in death by a son, Justin McGlocklin.

Survivors include his wife, Tara McGlocklin of the home; son, Utah and wife, Shellie McGlocklin; stepdaughter, Jessica Hayes; parents, Larry and Sandra McGlocklin; brother, Scott and his wife, Jennifer McGlocklin; and grandchildren, Addie, Elizabeth and Link McGlocklin.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM, July 28, 2022 at the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM till service time. Private burial will be at a later date.
