Sharon Ross Brooks, 69, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born May 6, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John Allen and Opal Williams Ross. After graduating from LR Hall High School, Sharon worked for the Arkansas State Police and later with her husband Jim owned Terri Lynn's Bar-B-Q & Delicatessen which they purchased from the original owner, Harry Giberson, in 1986 and ran as a family business until 2005. Many people in Little Rock knew Jimmy and Sharon from "behind the counter" at the restaurants. Sharon later moved to Northwest Arkansas to be near her son, daughter and granddaughters. She will be remembered for her strength, commitment to family and sense of humor. She was preceded by her parents, her husband, and her grandson, Andrew Whitham.

She is survived by her daughter, Carie Brooks Whitham of Rogers; her son, Jonathan Brooks of Bentonville; her granddaughters, Hailey and Katie Whitham, both of Rogers; her siblings, Dr. John Williams (Angela) Ross, Sr. of Pine Bluff and Olivia Ross of Little Rock; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Sharp of Little Rock; and her brother-in-law, Benny (Carolyn) Brooks of Perryville.

A memorial service will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Fellowship Bible Church 5724 Alcoa Rd. Benton, Arkansas 72015. A brief reception will follow at the church. Private burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas.
