Shari Lynn Woodard Miller, 77, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2021. Shari was born October 24, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas, and lived her first 13 years in Texarkana, TX.  When the family moved to Pasadena, Texas in 1956, she attended Deer Park, TX schools graduating high school in 1962.  After moving to Arkansas in the early 1960's, she worked for many years in different secretarial and administrative positions.  She then went to work for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Little Rock and Fayetteville, AR for 25 years retiring in 2014.  Shari was a great cook and was famous for her homemade pies and cornbread dressing at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  She will always be known for her love of sports, especially college basketball with March Madness being her favorite time of year. We will all miss her great sense of humor and her love for family.  Shari was predeceased by her parents, and her daughter, Susan Pyshney.

She is survived by her husband Robert Miller of the home; one granddaughter, Kristin Mobley (Mark) of Louisville, KY; two step-daughters, Brittany Miller (Josh Doss) of  Perryville, AR and Robyn Miller (Chris Kaemke), Miami, FL; two sisters and two brothers, Cathy Mintz, Pearland, TX, Alan Woodard (Laura), Brentwood, TN, Martha Bragg (Doug), Lee's Summit, MO and Neil Woodard, LaPorte, TX; one step-granddaughter, three great-granddaughters, and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 5:00 pm with Visitation at 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave., Springdale, Arkansas 72762. The family requests that donations be made to ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­a charity of your choice.
