Shannan Marie Stewart was born November 29, 1967 in San Bernardino, California to Bob & Margaret Marez. Shannan passed peacefully at her home in Springdale on January 11, 2019.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Christopher Stewart, her constant companions JoeJoe & Billy, her parents, maternal grandfather, Bill Mitchell, her two brothers, Bobby & David Marez and brother at heart, Bobby Tyner.

She learned her love of the Lord from her beloved Grandma Mitchell who preached God's word.  She shared the thrill of the race track with her father and brothers who built and raced cars.  Her large extended family added to her joy in life, along with taking long happy walks with her dogs, gardening and canning. She delighted in the color orange, reading, poetry, big salads & spaghetti.

All who loved her will miss her, especially those who went through the hardest of times with her. The family is having a private memorial service in her honor.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.BoxerRescueNWA.org - PO Box 8473, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
