Ruthie Mae Mounce, 73, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away June 12, 2020 in Springdale.  She was born January 22, 1947, in Marshall, Arkansas, to the late Guy and Cecil Still Horton.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing, writing songs and playing the guitar.  She was also preceded by one son, Dewayne Carlton.

Mrs. Horton is survived by two sons: Bobby Carlton of Springdale, Arkansas and Julian Baker of Missouri; two daughters: Rosalind Andre of Springdale, Arkansas and Laura Lawson and her husband, Allen, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Graveside services will be June 16, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Elm Springs Cemetery, Elm Springs, Arkansas, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.  No visitation is scheduled at the funeral home.
