Ruta Vitello, 70 of Springdale, Arkansas, died November 10, 2023 in Springdale.  She was born April 7, 1953, the daughter of Karibaua Tetabo and Tanako Kariaba, in Kuria, Kiribati.  She is preceded by her husband, James L. Vitello.

She is survived by her six children:  Tanako, Tebra, Mamaua, Areau, Totene and Angelina; 17 grandchildren: Sarah, Venny, Gabriel, Ganten, Rahma, Juliet, Angela, Abraham, Asoleaga, Anna, Alexander, Izajah, Hazyl, Julina, Xander, Xavier, and Xion; four great grandchildren: Kaimi, Kamlei, Jimmy and Sophie.

Funeral Service will be Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6738, Lynch's Prairie Cove, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Bishop Austin Kramer officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.  Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery,
