Obituary

Rosie Mae Moore passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Joe and Martha, her stepfather Cub, her brothers, Jim and Nick, her husband John, and her son David. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosie spent her life nurturing those she loved with warmth, creativity, and an infectious laugh. After many years as a cherished sales associate, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering love for her family. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Rosie is reunited with Dad, David, and all those who have gone before her, walking together through the streets of glory to meet our Heavenly Father. More than anything, Rosie cherished the moments when her family was gathered together. Her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her. Rosie was well known for her famous sour cream pound cake and spaghetti, dishes that brought comfort and joy to every family gathering. Her artistic spirit shone through in the beautiful quilts she lovingly crafted each one a gift of warmth for every child and baby in the family. An avid puzzler, she found great joy in tackling 1,000-piece puzzles, embracing each challenge with patience and determination.

She is survived by her beloved children: Katherine and her partner Ava, Gary and his wife Rita Gail, Nancy Yvonne, and Patricia with her husband Aaron. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; Jeremy, Crystal, Monica, John Wayne, Jennifer, Taylor, Becky Jo, and Devon; as well as ten great-grandchildren: Anthony, Brooklyn, Parker, Khya, Henry, Beau David, Makenzie, Emma, and A.J.

A graveside service will be 3:00PM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Wilson Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas. All are welcome to attend as we celebrate Rosie's life and the love she shared with us all. Arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale, AR.
