Our loving husband, father and papa Roger Dean Hunter, 65, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord June 12, 2022 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He was born October 29, 1956 in Elkhart, Kansas the son of the late Alvin and June Gore Hunter.  He was of the Lutheran faith and was a biotech-oncology specialist for Genentech.  He loved golf, the ocean, snorkeling, the Arkansas Razorbacks, woodworking and spending time with family and friends.

He lived a magnanimous life, following the teachings of his faith.  He actively sought to serve those around him always with kindness, positivity and love.  He selflessly strove to help those in need.

Roger is survived by his wife, Sherry Crutchfield Hunter, of the home; brother Kenny Hunter (Carroll); children Angela Webb (Kerry), Joseph Drymon (Stephanie) and Hannah Hunter; grandsons Chase Doyle, JD Doyle and Dustin Hall.  Along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.  The family will greet friends from 10:30 A.M. until service time.  A private entombment will be at a later date.
