Robert Earl Longdon, 77, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away May 12, 2019 at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville. He was born August 27, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Irwin Earl and Rosa Comstock Longdon. He was a master mechanic and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He is preceded by his parents; one son, Robbie Longdon; a brother and a sister.

Mr. Longdon is survived by his wife, Mary Stockdale Longdon, one daughter, Leann Williams and husband, Robert, and grandson, Jameson Williams, all of the home; a grandson, Brian Longdon Williams and wife, Melissa, and great grandson, Shane Longdon Williams all of Wesley, Arkansas; one brother, Randy Longdon and wife, Tammy, of Conroe, Texas; one sister, Rhonda Howell, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

A Memorial Service with entombment of remains will be Monday, May 20, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas with military honors. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
