IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Wayne
Krizan
November 18, 1941 – June 25, 2022
Robert (Bob) Wayne Krizan, aged 80, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Springdale, Arkansas, at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 18, 1941, to Adolph Krizan and Frances Hess Krizan in Brenham, Texas.
Bob was very active in boy scouts and earned the Eagle Scout award in 1958. He graduated from Brenham High School in 1959 and later went on to further his education at Blinn College and The University of Houston. Bob served as a field artillery officer in the United States Army, receiving the Army Commendation Medal for his meritorious service. Bob was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale where he served as a Senior Warden of the Vestry for many years.
Bob lived a full life, leaving an impact on many people. From his adventures in South Florida, to raising dark-fired tobacco in Western Kentucky, to managing the largest non-union electrical contracting company in Texas, to finally settling in Northwest Arkansas. Bob operated his own recognized electrical contracting company, Electro Craft, Inc., where he worked beside his life-long friend, Dottie White. Together they served the Northwest Arkansas community for the last 30 years.
Some of Bob's favorite pastimes included traveling, especially to Costa Rica and Mexico; hanging out with his dog, Cooper; trout fishing; golfing (although he never perfected his skills); grilling; and most importantly, spending time with family, especially his kids and grandkids.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Fred Krizan. He is survived by his wife of almost 37 years, Diana (Mustain) Krizan; five children: Greg Krizan (Valerie) of Montgomery, TX; Craig Krizan (Jill) of The Woodlands, TX; Brenda Krizan of Huntsville, AR; Michael Krizan (RaQwin) of Golden, CO; and Bobbi Lawson (Josh) of Springdale, AR; seven grandchildren: Mallorie Krizan; Adam Krizan (Brooke); Luke Krizan (Ashlyn); Amber Krizan; Brayden Krizan; Braxton Krizan; and Leighton Lawson; as well as four great-grandchildren: Elouise Krizan; Braylynn Krizan; Beau Krizan; and Ava Krizan. Bob is also survived by one brother, Buddy Krizan (Judy), of Brenham, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 5-7pm. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 9:30am, followed by a private family ceremony at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
