Piney Ann Luper, age 76, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2017, at Earlene Howard Circle of Life Hospice House. She was born August 17, 1940, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Jack and Ina McClendon Guist. She was retired from Allen Canning Company and attended Mercy & Grace Cathedral Church. She is preceded by her husband, Carl Luper; three brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Luper is survived by one son, Robert Luper and his wife, Bobbie, of Fayetteville; three daughters: Helen Harrington and her husband, David, of Humboldt, Kansas; Sharon Luper, of Rogers; and Letha Collins and her husband, Jay, of Chester; three sisters: Carolyn Spears and her husband, Paul, of Springdale; Marcella Sides and her husband, Dan, of Durham, Oklahoma; and Ruth Hunter of Oxen Hill, Maryland; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Funeral services will be June 2, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Marler officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Luper, Bradley Denny, Heath Denny, Joshua Magnuson, Christopher Collins, Jay Collins, Anthony Harrington and Chad Harrington.
