Patricia Ann Samuelson Scruggs, age 79, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord April 5, 2020 in Springdale. She was born December 11, 1940, in St. Charles, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Milton Winters and Kathleen Winters Hart. She was a retired office manager and had worked at several banks. Mrs. Scruggs had served as a Sunday school teacher, song leader and in many other positions at Silent Grove Baptist Church and was a present member of Springdale Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to garden, grow flowers, going to Branson for shopping and shows, singing, being a caregiver to others and sharing the gospel. She was preceded by her first husband, William Samuelson, in 2009 and also by two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Luther Scruggs, of the home; one son, Brian Samuelson and his wife, Virginia, of Cave Springs, Arkansas; one daughter, Patrice Glur and her husband, Jeff, of Lowell, Arkansas; one stepson, Butch Scruggs and his wife, Sharon, of Springdale, Arkansas; one stepdaughter, Judy Isbell and her husband, Chris; three brothers: Robert Winters of Wichita, Kansas, Timothy Garrison of Eureka Springs, Arkansas and Greg Winters of Ft. Worth, Texas; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of friends.

A private family graveside service will be at Elm Springs Cemetery with Pastor Timothy Garrison and Pastor Wes Hulvey officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Friends are welcome to come to the funeral home to sign the guest book until 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday. The family will not be present.
