Olga Marie (Koopman) Rohrich, age 88, Fayetteville, entered into rest at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, under the care of Washington Regional Hospice.

Olga was born October 19, 1928 in Chester, Illinois to Fred W. and Frieda (Schroeder) Koopman. Olga married Jake Rohrich in 1968; they made their home in Anna, Illinois.  Jake preceded her in death on October 4, 1978.

Olga was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Women's Mission League, and the Fayetteville City Hospital Auxiliary, all in Fayetteville.  She was employed at Chester Herald Tribune for 24 years, and retired from the State of Illinois, Department of Public Aid, after 23 years of service.  She attended St. John's Lutheran School in Chester, and graduated from Chester High School.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Koopman, and sister, Dorothy (Koopman) Phoenix.

She is survived by a son Jake Rohrich (Charlotte); a daughter Helen Rohrich; a grandson Jacob Rohrich (Dallas Hall); a grandson Philip Caron (Kristy); a grandson Joshua Rohrich; a granddaughter Jocelyn MacKinnon (David); six great-grandchildren (Baley, Gavin, Tanner, Sophie, Jonah and Jasper); a niece Jacqueline Watson (Gale); a nephew Larry Phoenix (Ginger); and a nephew Jerry Phoenix (Joyce).

Memorial services are pending. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Chester, Illinois at a later date.
