Norman Ralph Burnett, age 75, of Farmington, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2015. He was born May 6, 1940 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Woodrow and Katherine Burnett.
He was of the Baptist faith and attended Unity Covenant Church in West Fork. He retired from McClinton Anchor-Sharps Quarry, and served in the United States Navy. Norman's greatest pleasures in life were praying, reading the Bible, and leading people to the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna Murphy Burnett, of the home; mother, Katherine Burnett, of Fayetteville; son, Jim Burnett (Traci), of Springdale; two daughters; Sheri Burnett, of Farmington, and Jeri Phillips (Kevin), of Fayetteville; two brothers; five sisters; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Bowerman and Rev. Paul Payne officiating. Interment will be at Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday January 3, 2016 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Josh Watts, Mike Watts, Johnny Burnett, Rick Hammond, Nikki Burnett, Zach Burnett, Carney Easter, and Wally Vanderlip.
