Noel Watkins Upton, better known as "Nana", was embraced by the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 30th, 2017.  She was born on February 17, 1937 in Bolinger, AL.

Nana was a sassy, headstrong woman with the most generous and loving heart. Throughout the course of her life she cared for numerous children and individually cherished every single one. She loved taking them out to eat, showing them off to her friends, and took great joy in telling everyone how much she loved them. Her life was far from perfect, but in the end we only remember the years of memories and moments that she created. She will be loved always and greatly missed.
