Obituary

Nancy Jane Allred Wienker, 76, was born January 1, 1948, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Lenora and Sam Allred (they traveled to Fayetteville in a snow storm with Gene and Mary George).  She was their only child.  They loved living in Springdale, Arkansas where she attended Springdale High School graduating in 1965.  She then attended the University of Arkansas until she meet the love of her life and soul mate, Bill Wienker. They married July 19, 1968 and never had any children.  She and Bill moved with his job with Montgomery Ward living in Coffeeyville, Kansas; Rolla, Missouri, Dardanelle, Arkansas and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Traveling was their love and they snow skied across the United States and Europe.  In 1989 they purchased Class Act Party and Rental Store in Tulsa, Oklahoma and operated it until August, 2005.  At that time, they started traveling in their RV/Motor home seeing and experiencing and seeing the United States from corner to corner and coast to coast.  They enjoyed seeing and experiencing the wonders of America and meeting and making friends.  In 2010, they purchased a second home in Davenport, Florida on an RV Resort/Golf course where they became "snowbirds" staying there from October thru April.

Nancy battled multiple myeloma which was discovered in 2016.  She was treated in Little Rock, Arkansas at Myeloma Institute by Dr. Fritz Van Rhee and his staff making many trips there to be treated. Nancy passed away October 14, 2024 of a heart problem at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Wienker, of the home; and numerous cousins and friends including Woody Haddock (husband of Marianne Ford), Eric Ford (Stephanie); Pat Molley, Clyde Ford, Eddie Ford (Reva) Susie S, Henrylette Smith (Bob), Teyna and Larry McMackin,  Linda and Rob Marshall, Tim, Karen and Pat Bankston, Peggy and Jay Monroe, Al and Jo Pledger, and many more.

Graveside services will be Friday, October 25, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. in Bluff Cemetery with Rob Marshall officiating.   No visitation is scheduled. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels.
