Wilma Nadine Tinsley, 87, of Springdale Arkansas passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 in Huntsville, Arkansas.   She was born March 25, 1938 in Elkhorn, Arkansas to Floy Ray Gurley and Annice Clark Gurley.   Wilma was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Robert "Bob" Tinsley.

She is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Dena Tinsley Curris and her husband, Robert A. B. Curris, Colonel US Army Retired of Waynesville, NC;  brother, Charles Gurley of Huntsville; sisters, Maxine Shaver of Springdale and Carole Davidson of Harrison.

Nadine graduated from Harrison High School after attending School in Kingston the preceding years.  She was also a graduate of The American Institute of Banking. Nadine was a long serving member of the Springdale Chamber of Commerce.  She retired as the Senior Vice President of Employee Relations at First National Bank of Springdale with more than 45 years of total banking experience.  Her impact on the employees and customers of First National cannot be overstated.  She was respected for her work ethic and integrity and loved for generous spirit and unfailing sense of humor.

She and Bob had several pets over the years but none so dear as their grumpy little dachshund Putter Green and his feline sidekick Milo Daisy. She and Bob were longtime members of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ and the family takes comfort in knowing they are together again and at peace in the hands of their Heavenly Father.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale with burial at Maple Leaf Cemetery at 2:30 PM in Harrison.  The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM Wednesday June 4, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Home.    In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to whiskersrescuear.org , memorycare.org or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
