Monte Dale Scott, 69, of Elm Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord March 28, 2020. He was born March 31, 1950 in Springdale, Arkansas, the son of the late Glennon and Dolly Cross Scott. Monte was of the Baptist faith. He had retired from JB Hunt Transport after 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda, and several siblings.

Monte is survived by his son, Shannon Scott of Springdale, Arkansas; brothers, Lee Scott and Evelyn of Elm Springs, Arkansas, Gene Scott and Sherry of Colcord, Oklahoma, Kelly Scott of China; brother-in-law, Rex Watkins and Tammy of Lowell, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Donna Williamson, Joyce Scott and Kay Reynolds all of Elm Springs, Arkansas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, April, 1, 2020 in Elm Springs Cemetery with Reverend Glynn Trusty officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762. There will be no visitation.
