Mildred Ann Hershey, age 89, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord November 8, 2017. She was born March 29, 1928 in Jamaica Long Island, New York, the daughter of Arthur and Phoebe Landgraff Clarkson. Mildred was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the Springdale Public Schools where she taught for many years, positively impacting the lives of many children throughout her career. Mildred loved to travel and mostly loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Charles Hershey and his wife Debra of Mobile, Alabama. Her daughters, Arlene Laswell of Farmington, Arkansas, Judy Hershey of Springdale, Arkansas and Laura Counts and her husband Robert of Lowell, Arkansas. Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday November 13, 2017 in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Reverend Loy Counts officiating. The family request donations be made to the American Heart Association 108 East Sunbridge Drive Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703 or to American Cancer Society 1200 West Walnut, Suite 2313 Rogers, Arkansas 72756.
