Mildra Pittman Pierce, 87 of Cord, Arkansas died Thursday, April 6, 2023 in Batesville, AR. She was born April 16, 1935 in Jonesboro, Arkansas the daughter of James Henry Pittman and Mildra Onedia Forkum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Pierce, daughter, Barbara Hughes, son-in-law Gary Hughes and 6 siblings. She loved to sew, make quilts and go to church. Also, she was employed as a baker for 27 years.

Survivors include her children, Della Mize and her husband, Marion, Lawanda Fuller and her husband, Ronnie; 5 siblings; 9 grandchildren, 13, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral service will be 12:00PM, Monday, April 10, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Buttram Chapel Cemetery in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 11AM till service time on Monday.
