Mary Lyn Holmes, 85 of Springdale, went to be with the Lord on February 09, 2017. She was born September 22, 1931 in Newton County, Arkansas, the daughter of Jeff and Mittie Farmer Baker. She was of the Episcopal Faith. She was a retired Cook for the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.

She is survived by one daughter: Leslie Baker of Starkville, Mississippi. Two brothers: Jeffrey Baker and his wife Debby of Elm Springs, Arkansas, Tom Baker of Springdale Arkansas. One sister: Peggy Brewer of Cave Springs, Arkansas and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville with Reverend Lowell Grisham and Reverend Suzanne Stoner officiating.

Cremation arrangement were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
