Mary Helen Hill, 93, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord January 10, 2020. She was born January 16, 1926 in Slater Missouri, the daughter of the late Ben and Gertrude Gibbons Wood. Mary loved ball room and square dancing, cooking and most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Benny Wood, Jr. and LeRoy Wood and her sister, Cleo Yowell.

Mary is survived by her husband of 74 years, Marvin Hill of the home; son, Gary Wayne Hill of Wheeler, Arkansas; daugther, Carolyn May Higgs and husband Mike of Fayetteville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Adam and wife Melanie, Wesley and wife Stacci, Stephanie, Scott and wife Meredith; great grandchildren, Audrey, Alexia, Namiya, Tyler, Jaccob and Alexander, and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Fayetteville National Cemetery 700 Government Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701 under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2020, from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home.
