Mary Lois Fanning Clark, age 85, of Huntsville, went to be with the Lord September 5, 2026. She was born January 12, 1941 in Seneca, Missouri, the fifth of seven children to Walter and Thelma Cram Fanning. Mary graduated from high school in Quapaw, Oklahoma, in 1959, and was working in the corner grocery store in her home town of Peoria, Oklahoma, where she met her future husband, Ronnie Clark, while he was delivering chicken feed to a local farm. Immediately following their marriage on March 26, 1960, they moved to Decatur, and then in 1976, to Huntsville, Arkansas. While raising their young family, they enjoyed listening to country music, square dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was married to Ronnie for 57 years until his passing in 2018. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, older brothers Garol (Bud), Walter (Spec), Charles; older sister Carole Rawlins, and two grandsons Matthew and Craig Clark. Mary is survived by daughter, Lorie Bernhardt, and John, of Stuttgart, Arkansas; two sons, Micheal Clark and Tess/Theresa of Goshen, Arkansas, and Randy Clark and Lisa, of Huntsville, Arkansas; younger sisters Ruth Blevins of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Lynda Boyle of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three grandchildren Phillip Bernhardt, Kristan Graham and Corey, and Dylan Clark, all of Huntsville, Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Countryside Assisted Living and Memory Care Center in Huntsville who provided loving care to Mary during the later years of her life.
