Mary Frances Brasel, age 98, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord May 4, 2019 at the Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville.  She was born April 10, 1921, in Fame, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wilburn and Grace Carlton Libby.  She had worked in nursing homes for many years, enjoyed sewing, cooking and going to garage sales.  She is preceded by her husband, Glen Brasel, a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jo and Johnny Slaughter, two sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by one son, Charles Brasel and wife, Twyla, of Altus, Arkansas; three daughters: Shirley Patton and husband, Coy, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, Gail Simpson and husband, Mark, of Murrayville, Georgia and Marsha Simpson and husband, Terry, of Gainesville, Georgia; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 2:30 P.M. in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.  Private graveside service will follow in Friendship Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Memorial Funeral Home.
