Mary Ruth Austin, 79, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord September 23, 2024. She was born April 21, 1945 in Benton County, Arkansas the daughter of the late Truman and Martha Harbison Austin. Mary attended Cross Church in Springdale. She had worked for Loxcreen Company for 45 years and she enjoyed watching religious programs on TV, listening to religious music, gardening and ball room dancing. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Billy Dean Austin and Gene Austin.

She is survived by her fiancée, Ronnie Hodge of Springdale, Arkansas and her cousin Edith Ann Rigley of Lowell, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 27, 2024 at Friendship Cemetery with Reverend Charlie Foster Officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
