Margaret "Irene" Dossett passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025 at the age of 80, surrounded by family. She was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on October 11, 1944, to Mildred and Theodore Weible.  She was proceeded in death by her parents Theodore and Mildred Weible, her son Ted Dossett, her daughter Jennifer Grimsley, her grandson Jonathon Dossett, and three brothers; Walter, Bill, and Bob Weible. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Irene spent her life sacrificially nurturing those she loved and covering every family member daily in prayer. She enjoyed many years working as a secretary for Walker Elementary, teaching Sunday school, and being on the Hospitality Committee at the churches she attended. She loved her family and opened her home as a warm place for family gatherings where she made sure there was a plate (or two) for every one and they all had a place to sit at the table.  Food just tasted better when it was made by Irene. She spoke truth in love to those around her. Her love and servant heart knew no bounds.  Her greatest desire was that every family member would know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Earl Dossett; Her children, Walter Dossett and wife Dawn Dossett of Springdale, Mark Dossett and wife Denise Dossett of Fayetteville, and John Dossett and wife Rhonda Dossett of Springdale.  Three sisters, Susie Martin of Idaho Falls, ID, Alene Hyde of Hot Springs, CA and Dorothy Wester of Oak, TX; 20 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2 pm at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Rogers, AR. All are welcome to attend as we celebrate Irene's life and the love, she shared with all of us. Arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral home of 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, AR 72762.
