Mailen Edward Brewer, 59 of Springdale, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at his residence in Springdale after a long battle with his heart. He was born May 10, 1957 in Springdale, Arkansas, the son of G.E. Brewer and Helen Brewer Lyons. Mailen loved working in the yard, gardening, and anyone who knew him knew of his love of cars and good music. He always had a contagious smile and no matter what the circumstance may have been, he had a positive outlook. He was given a prognosis of living only 10 days after being sent home on hospice October 22, 2016. He defied the odds and spent many months having the opportunity to visit with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mailen is survived by his daughters, Renee Kemper and Melissa Wilson. His Mother, Helen Brewer Lyons, his two sisters, Debi Brewer Evans, Lisa Brewer and many grandkids, nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral or memorial services as Mailens wishes were to say his goodbyes in person, to tell his friends and family how much he loved them, while he was still here. We only ask that friends keep his family in their thoughts and prayers.
