Mabel Gladys Montgomery, 96, of Springdale, Arkansas went to be with the Lord March 20, 2023.  She was born December 25, 1926, in Kingston, Arkansas, the daughter of Denver Lee and Willie Jewell Seitz McCollough.   She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale and worked as a waitress at many local restaurants in the area.  She enjoyed coloring pictures, spending time with family especially the grandchildren, and watching game shows.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Robert Montgomery; one son, Terry Baty; one daughter, Pat Long; one granddaughter, Monica Gutlovics; three brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by two daughters: Sherry Bowman and husband, Ron, and Tammy Ames and husband, Steve, all of Springdale, Arkansas; one step-son, Doug Montgomery and wife, Sandy, of Highlandville, Missouri; one step-daughter, Sharon Gutlovics of Highlandville, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Sandi Colvin; Shelli Bell and husband, James; Jama Ballard; Traci McClung and husband, Lance; Dustin Kelley and wife, Cassie; Jason Ames; Marcus Ames and wife, Jessica; and Matt Montgomery; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Gary Morris officiating.  Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
