Lucille Brawner, 97, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord February 16, 2023. She was born April 26, 1925 in Pollard, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Roscoe and Moreida Alexander Lee. Lucille had attended Oak Grove Baptist Church, she enjoyed attending church, cooking, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Brawner in 2007 and a sister, JoAnn Vermilye.

She is survived by her son, Jim Brawner and wife Janet, of Mustang, Oklahoma; daughters, Sonya Simpson and husband Don of Springdale, Arkansas, Sherry Johnson and husband Robert, of Commerce, Texas; Sister, Mary Lou Lemons of Pocahontas, AR; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with a graveside service immediately following in Elm Springs Cemetery with Roy Wilson officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
