Loyd Clinton Sigmon, 69, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away June 28, 2021 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He was born June 16, 1952, in Springdale, Arkansas, the son of the late Phillip "Pete" and Martha Lou Mobbs Sigmon,  Loyd was a talented self-employed brick mason and devoted husband and father.  He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting with his dogs, driving his truck down scenic country roads, growing vegetables, foraging in the woods and old country songs and western films.  He understood and shared Ozark knowledge and craftsmanship.  Loyd held the respect of those closest to him and handled his long-term illness with strength and dignity. His life principles of hard work done well, love of nature and dedication to family and friends will live on through those who knew and miss him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Mary Lou McGarrah; niece, Kimberly McGarrah; and life-long friends, Larry Lynch and Darrell Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy Sigmon, of the home; daughter, Samantha and partner Zane Placke; step-daughter, Dawn Watts and husband, David; and grandson, Daniel Caldwell; five brothers: Frankie and wife, Joan; Dan; Ronny and wife, Brenda; Wesley and wife, Alice; Glen and wife, Melba; one sister: Edith Guyll; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be at Mayfield Church, 18570 State Highway 303, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.  Any flowers will be accepted at the church on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.  Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
