Laura Lee Downum, 66, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord October 7, 2021.  She was born October 9, 1954, in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of the late Arthur and Christina Sliwinski Runyan.  She had worked as a secretary for Waco Title Company and was a member of Elm Springs United Methodist Church.  She loved RV traveling, going to the beach, volunteering at church, her DIY projects and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Lanny Glynn Downum.

Laura is survived by two sons: Lanny Morgan Downum and his wife, Rachel, and Matthew Downum all of Elm Springs, Arkansas; two brothers: Arthur Runyan II and husband, Mike Amendolara, of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey and Buddy Runyan and his wife, Didi, of Peoria, Arizona; two sisters: Diane Pell and her husband, Jack, of Bowie, Maryland and Eva Kirk of Springdale, Arkansas and four perfect grandchildren: Avery, Essa, Ella and Grady.

A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. at Elm Springs United Methodist Church, 110 School Street, Elm Springs, Arkansas with burial to follow in Elm Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.  Pallbearers will be Brent Downum, Dale Downum, Buck Downum, Andy Downum, Joe Downum, Brad Downum and Chad Downum.
