Obituary

LaDonna Sue Davenport Diacon, beloved mother, grandma, and great grandma passed away on September 14th, 2025 at the age of 83 in Springdale. She was born January 31st, 1942 in Chickasha, Ok. She was the daughter of Thomas Davenport and Ruth Davis Davenport. She is preceded in death by a Husband Delmer "Bud" Diacon; a daughter June Stamps and 3 brothers.

LaDonna loved all animals, especially her dogs. She loved being able to give back to her community in any way possible. With the help of Kristy and Ella every Christmas they would go to the VA and hand out homemade blankets to all the patients. As well as teaming up with the local fire department collecting toys through the year to hand out during the Christmas season. The one thing she valued the most was family. She loved to take long drives with her daughter Robin, sometimes very long drives. One of her favorite past times was watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. She was very active in all her great grandchildren's sports and lives. She was their biggest fan. A lot of her time was spent cooking and baking with her great grandchildren teaching them new recipes. LaDonna was a very strong independent woman up to her final days. She wouldn't let anyone or thing stop her from doing what she loved.

She is survived by her daughter Robin Galbraith and her husband Mike Galbraith of Branson MO; sister, Kristy Hanshew and her husband Tommie, of Texas; son in law Dick Stamps of Springdale; three grandchildren Dallas Moreno and her husband Juan, Thomas Stamps and his wife Stephanie, James Stamps and his wife Jenn; eight great grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. She taught us the value of family and to live each day like a party. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18th, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Home with Chaplain Dee Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Bluff Cemetery.
