Kevin McLeod Slingerland, 66, of Elm Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord January 23, 2021 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale.  He was born May 29, 1954 in Seattle, Washington, the son of the late Robert F. (Bob) and Florence McLeod Slingerland.  He was retired from Mide Inc. and had served in Viet Nam with the United States Marine Corp from 1971 until 1974.   He was a Christian and enjoyed golf, fishing, and all sports especially hunting and the Razorbacks.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded by two sons: Tristen Slingerland and Danny Slingerland.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kelly Craig Slingerland, of the home; one daughter, Tara Ann Watson of Chehalis, Washington; one brother, Fred (Les) Slingerland, of St. Petersburg, Florida; and three sisters: Sharmyn Hendrickson of Centralia, Washington, Kathie Mills of Centralia, Washington, and Verona Moore and husband, Rick, of Rochester, Washington.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
