Katlyn Joanna Palmer, 35 year old resident of Springdale, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on April 25, 1990.

Katlyn was a woman who embraced life with open arms. She found joy in many things, from painting and crafting, to swimming and exploring new places. Katlyn loved hunting for bargains while shopping. Above all, she loved being a mom. Katlyn was a natural caregiver and she showed this through acts of kindness and helpfulness.

Survived by her beloved sons, Jason Gene Palmer, of Springdale; Carter Gene Palmer, of Springdale; mother, Donna Jo Alvarado, of Springdale; brother Joel Sutherlan (Courtney), of Mantua, New Jersey; sisters, Elora Alvarado (Dean Pineda), of Rogers; Elissa Alvarado (Joseph Navarro), of Rogers; Grandparents Joe W. and Judy Smith, of Siloam Springs; uncle Lex Smith, of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Tory Tate (Adrian), Sarah Sutherlan; great nephews, Max Tate, Hudson Tate; as well as many additional family and friends. Though Katlyn's time here was short, her love remains in the hearts of those who knew her.

A celebration of Katlyn's life will take place Tuesday, August 19 at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with a visitation prior to the memorial service, beginning at 1:00 P.M
