Kathy Ann Skaggs, age 65 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2024. Kathy was born on March 28, 1959 to James Beecher and Lille Irene (Blackston) Spencer in Harrison, Arkansas. Kathy exemplified every day what it means to be a woman of God. She was slow to anger but quick to stand up for what she believed was right. Her grace, patience, and endless capacity for forgiveness were matched only by her unwavering loyalty and inner strength. Whether smiling at the dance of a hummingbird or standing in awe of the unmoving mountains, she found comfort and beauty in every part of God's creation. She was truly beautiful in every sense of the word. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents James and Lille (Blackston) Spencer and her son Steven James Hudson.
Kathy is survived by her husband Stephen (Steve) Skaggs; One sister, Debbie Queary, four brothers, David, Ronnie, Jeffrey, and Larry Spencer; Two children, Christy Ann Hudson-Westlin and Michael David Skaggs; Six Grandchildren, Ashdon Hudson, Dixie Miller, Katelyn Davis, Evin Mason, Maggie Westlin, and Andrew Michael; Four great grandchildren, Reece Hudson, Maverick Hudson, Ellodee Mason and Evelyn Scott.
Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Friday, June 14, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Plumlee cemetery, county road 16 in Compton, AR at 2;00PM, Friday. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM, Thursday June 13, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home.
