June Merle (Gore) Hunter, 88 of Bentonville.  Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and child of God, passed away July, 3, 2017 in Bentonville. She was born June 1, 1929 in Dewey County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Fred Albert and Lois Mable Dale Gore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Alvin Hunter, her parents, sister; Ardath Wilkerson and five brothers; Wayne Gore, Keith Gore, Vern Gore, Harvey Gore and Lynn Gore.

She is survived by two sons; Roger Hunter and wife Sherry of Owasso, Oklahoma and Kenneth Hunter and wife Carroll of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Many precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Arlene Gore, Billie Gore, Iona Hunter, Rhoda Hunter and brother-in-law; Carl Dean Hunter and wife Peggy of Kansas.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, Arkansas  72762 with Funeral Services following at 2:00 P.M with Pastor Mitch Fincher officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Riley Cemetery, Dewey County Oklahoma, near Vici, Oklahoma with Pastor Daniel Hammons officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
