Joyce Coelene Scott, 83, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, passed in peace Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born October 14, 1935 in Springdale, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Glen and Dolly Cross Scott. She was preceded in death by two brothers, "Scotty" and Douglas and a sister-in-law, Linda. Colene graduated from Springdale High School. "Scotty" was a nurse for 43 years at Springdale Memorial Hospital. She loved to read and she was "mom" to four fur-babies. She loved old movies and detective shows.

She is survived by her brothers, Dwain and wife, Kay, of Elm Springs; Gene and wife, Sherry, of Siloam Springs; Monte of Elm Springs; Lee and wife, Evelyn of Elm Springs; Kelly of China; Joyce a sister-in-law, of Elm Springs; her best friend and caretaker, JoJo Poole; and countless nephews, nieces and cousins.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
