Joyce Lee Scott, 80, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord November 10, 2023.  She was born February 16, 1943, in Springdale, Arkansas, the daughter of John and Florence Glenn Lewis.  She was a charter member of Faith Regular Baptist Church in Elm Springs which she dearly loved and had retired from Arkansas Western Gas Company. She loved canning, singing gospel songs, spending time with her family and keeping everything spotlessly clean.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Glennon (Scotty) Scott; one daughter, Belinda Bartholomew; one brother, Afton Lewis; and two sisters, Vern Noblin and Vida Lewis.

Joyce is survived by three sons: Brook Scott and Pat of Elm Springs, Arkansas; Afton Scott and Danielle of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and Tim Scott and Cammie of Lowell, Arkansas; one brother, Ron Lewis, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Elm Springs Cemetery, School Street, Elm Springs, Arkansas 72728 with Pastor Derry Birdsong officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.  There will not be a visitation.
