Johnny Earl Taylor II, 67, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord October 30, 2022. He was born December 24, 1954, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of the late Johnny Earl and Vera Landers Taylor. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Corner Post Cowboy Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Johnny loved playing music, especially the banjo, doing custom woodworking, the Razorbacks, playing with his grandchildren and JoAnn's cooking.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Smith Taylor, of the home; one son, Jonathan Taylor and his wife, Sarah, of Green Forest, Arkansas; one daughter, Julie Taylor-McCawley and her husband, Thomas, of Springdale, Arkansas; one brother, Mark Taylor and his wife, Elaine, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four sisters: Sandy Petersen, of Tontitown, Arkansas, Marsha Ivey of Tontitown, Arkansas, Sherry Parsons and her husband, Bryan, of Springdale, Arkansas, and Samantha Knight and her husband, Travis, of Johnson, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Edward, Emma, Shiloh, Kambrie and Eden.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Corner Post Cowboy Church, 18200 Old Highway 68, Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761. Private burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
