John Clifford Reed 65, of Springdale, passed away on September 25, 2025. He was born February 23, 1960 in Springdale, Arkansas to Jimmy and Marie Reed. John was the patriarch of his family, always looking out for his brothers and those he loved. Known for treating others with more kindness than he ever gave himself. His brothers fondly remembered the time they shared at the horse track. On November 16, 1979, he married the love of his life, Lisa Hulse in the Elm Springs Methodist Church. For the next 45 years, they built a life together, raising three children and creating countless cherished memories as a family. John spent his life as a plumber, which was more than a profession, it was a family tradition. He worked alongside his father and later with his sons. Respected throughout the community, John cherished the friendships he made during his career. A man of few words but great heart, John lived a life defined by family, hard work, and quiet strength.

John was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Reed; sister, Susan Reed.

John is survived by his wife, Lisa Reed of the home; mother, Marie Berrie of Springdale, Arkansas; children, Jamie Heeney and her husband, Chris, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Allen Reed of Springdale, Arkansas, Conor Reed and his spouse, Alyssa Kress, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; brothers, Mike Reed and his wife, Kris, of Paragould, Arkansas, Gary Reed and his wife, Tracy, of Springdale, Arkansas, Scott McCool and his wife, Pam, of Iowa along with many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
