John William Bruner Jr., 91, of Rogers, Arkansas, formerly of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away September 01, 2024 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born September 23, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John W. Bruner Sr. and Jane L. Walczak. John had served in the United States Navy and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed repairing and collecting clocks, refinishing old wicker chairs and building things out of popsicle sticks. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Bruner and one son, Jack Lape.

John is survived by his son, Thomas Tharp and his wife Ladena of Rogers, Arkansas; his daughter, Tina Bruner and John Confer of Winter, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Rachel Inman, Jeremy Inman, Joshua Inmon, Alex Kaiser, Kelsey Brewer, Devon Hamilton, Kristin Bradford, Andrew Wilson and Troy Tharp; great grandchildren, Grace Anspach, Noelle Inman, Clifton Kaiser, Paulette Kaiser and Gentry Hamilton.

Graveside services with Military honors will be at 1:30 P.M., October 23, 2024 at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
