Joe Loyd Sherry, age 87, of Springdale, Arkansas went to be with his Lord on March 14, 2019 at his home.  Joe was born March 3, 1932 in Sonora, Arkansas to the late C.W. and Beatrice Harp Sherry.    He enjoyed golf, fishing and wood working.

Joe is survived by his wife of 68 years, Suzanne (Suzi) Scott Sherry of the home; one son, John Sherry and Pat of Dillon, Montana; one daughter, Kitti Jo Mounce and Jerry of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Jerrod Mounce and Mary of Springdale; Bryan Mounce and Dawn of Springdale and Sherry  Mounce and Brett Stoudt of Brooklyn, New York; seven great grandchildren: Jacob Mounce, Molly Mounce, Marcus Mounce, Owen Stoudt, Valla Mounce, Josephine Stoudt, Shepherd Mounce.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, March 18, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.  The family will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Christian Life Cathedral Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas or Spirit of Truth Church of Christ in God in Springdale, Arkansas.
