Joan Moore Donahoe of Lincoln, Arkansas entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Born in Vera, Texas, the daughter of William H. and Willie Brock Moore, she was one of fifteen children of an extremely close-knit family who remain so to this day. She was a Christian who loved her children and grandchildren fiercely.  Beautiful, with piercing blue eyes, she loved to laugh, go to dances, collect pretty dolls, the spirit of Christmas and made the most delicious chocolate meringue and apple pies. A gentle and compassionate soul, she spent many years as a CNA in Northwest Arkansas and was a true and loyal friend to all. Preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son Carl E. Myers and siblings: Nancy Yvonne Moore, Zelma Ruth Moore, Gloria Layton, W.H. Moore, Jr., Clyde Moore, Paul Moore, John Moore, Dick Moore and Judy Moore.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jess Martin of the home, children Randy (Debbie) Myers of Rogers, AR; Wesley Powell, Hopewell, VA; and John Powell, Springdale, AR.  The absolute loves of her life, her grandchildren, Jessica (Haley) Fritts, Cory (Melanie) Myers, Casey (Jillian) Myers and Chris Myers; along with four great-grand daughters, Autumn and Summer Bolinger and Emily Kate and Leighton Grace Myers and two great-great grandchildren, Jaydence and Julian.  Also survived by siblings, Katherine Collins, James (Loveta) Moore, Gene (Nancy) Moore, Jerry (Bertie) Moore and Beverly (Jack) Powell and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family burial and memorial service will take place at Wilson Cemetery, Springdale, AR.
